Complexcity: A transparent, collaborative platform uniting experts to tackle urban challenges and crises worldwide.

Dear Esteemed LINA Jury,

We, Dilan Vural and Caroline Steffen, submit "complexcity" to the esteemed LINA Conference 2023, driven by our resolute commitment to advancing architecture and urban planning. Our vision centers on a transparent, interconnected, and collaborative architectural practice that deftly addresses urban challenges, especially during crises.

"Complexcity" thrives on our interactive website, www.complexcity.space, serving as the foundational conduit. Here, individuals seek assistance ("need support") and take proactive measures ("ready to act"). Embracing experts from diverse domains - architecture, journalism, film, gastronomy, and more - we forge holistic responses to crises.

Our pillars - DATA, ACT, and LAB - embody innovation and transformative problem-solving. DATA amplifies attention to emergency solutions and temporary architectural interventions, tapping diverse disciplines' ingenuity. ACT serves as a vital hub, fostering fruitful collaborations among diverse stakeholders. LAB, in collaboration with esteemed academia and research institutions, crafts bespoke, sustainable, and socially responsible urban planning and architectural solutions.

Grounded in the "new transparency" paradigm, we advocate open knowledge exchange and data-driven insights. "Complexcity" seeks a paradigm shift towards collective swarm intelligence, combatting the pressing challenges posed by the climate crisis and urban complexities.

With confidence, we believe "complexcity" will captivate the Jury, bearing visionary tenets, academic rigor, and impactful strides in architecture. We eagerly anticipate presenting at the esteemed LINA Conference in Copenhagen, forging inspiring collaborations with esteemed experts for a brighter future.

Respectfully and anticipatively,
Dilan Vural and Caroline Steffen
