My name is Oksana Butramiieva, and I am the founder of the ecological project "Mama Plant a Tree" - a service that allows you to plant trees with just one click.
My previous work experience : Business development professional with 10 years of professional experience in Sales (Account manager/Relationship manager), Admin and HR development.
I have been working as SaaS Sales manager on numerous liaised projects internationally.
Along with it helped to create and successfully run 3 administrative departments, 2 HR departments. I have worked in US, Netherlands, Ukraine onsite and with UK, France, Bulgaria,Netherlands – remotely
Throughout my career, I felt like I was just making a living, meeting my basic financial needs by working for giants in e-commerce, television, digital content, and so on. But I always knew that I wasn't contributing in any way to solving environmental problems that truly require attention.
The "Mama Plant a Tree" project was my initiative created to give all Ukrainians the opportunity to care about their ecological future and the future of their children.
I have created a rapidly scalable service in Ukraine that became profitable in its first year and self-sustaining. I have ensured transparency in the business and secured its operation under the auspices of the United Nations, which provided it with a quality seal.
Due to the war, we have now shifted our market to the West and can just as easily scale it globally, bringing profits and philanthropy to Ukraine.
The project “Mama plant a tree" was created by ukrainian mothers with the long strategy to plant for children, who we invite to this world to live in.
To make our planet greener and secure to live in. The service “Mamaplantatree” allows everyone to plant a tree in one click.
Created a rapidly scalable service in Ukraine, which became profitable in its first year and self-sustaining. Through a transparent reporting mechanism, we were able to start operating under the auspices of the United Nations, earning us a quality seal. In the first year of operation in 2021, we planted over 40,000 trees.
In 2022, due to a massive intrusion, the project came to a complete halt. However, we managed to find opportunities to revive the project, and in 2022, our project gained support from Google for Startups for the international campaign "Plant a Tree - Demine Ukraine," where 50% of the tree's cost is allocated to demining efforts.
Our aim is to purchase a $1 million USD automated demining machine. To boost the project and expedite the acquisition of machines, we organize international marathons from Ukraine and strive to become partners in global events. Currently, we have planted over 100,000 trees.
To ensure the project's continued viability, we need to add two more product lines:
- Seaweed reforestation in oceans.
- International CO2 certification for B2B.
Due to the war, we shifted our market to the West and can easily scale it globally, bringing additional profits and charitable contributions to Ukraine. Our skills and experience will allow to transform the Ukrainian environmental project into a global initiative that contributes to saving lives in Ukraine.
