Cronotopiche
After graduating in Economics, I specialised in Anthropology and Visual Arts. My works are presented in various universities and events such as the Arts and Architecture University of Brighton, the Istanbul Biennale, the Ege University, the New York University. In 2013 I created Strane Straniere art&anthropology project, best practice for the EMWF and the Council of Europe. I’m author/associate producer of the film Strane Straniere (2016), presented at the 11th Rome Film Fest. My artistic project on migration Babylon Ring won the Altiero Spinelli Award 2017 promoted by the European Commission. It was presented at MAXXI (2018) tooking part in “Citta’ComeCultura” (MAXXI/MIBACT) collecting best Italian education/mediation practices (“Babylon Ring. Art, Anthropology and Social Practice”). In 2020 I started Cronotopiche, an artistic research nominated at New European Bauhaus Awards 2021. With the concept "Muses" I participates in the Publication and Exhibition for COP26 Reimagining Museums for Climate Action (Glasgow, June-November 2021). I was finalist at the main Italian screenwriting cinema award Premio Solinas, selected for IDS Academy 2021 at Torino Film Industry and for Pitch Beyond Borders 2023 by EWA/Wscripted. My film on women art La doppia vita di Kore/The double life of Kore (2023) was in the official selection of Portobello Film Festival, Los Angeles Italia Film and Art Fest, Capri, Hollywood Festival, Matera Film Festival, TUC Torino Underground Cinefest, Laceno D’Oro, Goa Short Film Festival. My film Persiane blu/Cerulean frames (2025) had a special event screening at Palazzo Esposizioni in Rome and it was the opening film for the Festival Lo Spiraglio at MAXXI. My work received considerable press coverage such as Ansa, TMnews, IlSole24ore, RAI, TV2000, N1TV, Radio24, Radio Vaticana, Il Manifesto, Osservatore Romano, HͶH, Efsyn gr, L’Espresso, Vaniy Fair, Elle.

It is an artistic research project on social, cultural and political time-space changes that aims to create a new narrative. Its first sharing “The greenhouse of miracles. An eco-urban utopia for civic sprouts” as cafe’ performance/off-online public talk took place in Rome on January 2021 (organized by ‘O Quarantotto in Rome) involving students, thinkers, educators, artists, scientists, local institutions, MAXXI the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Botanical Garden/University La Sapienza, the Environmental Governmental Committee.
Meanwhile bodies disappear behind a glossy screen, individualism, isolation, borders feed conflicts fostering the loss of spirituality and humanity and we rest in an unquiet troubled stillness of our reliquaries. Then we are able to arise a new imagery turning them into glasshouses. They evoke nature and reminds us flowing, regenerating, inspiring, creating, involving without losing its previous protection and repair echo. Collaboration, seeds protection, bond between roots could inspire us. New spaces and social interactions could be inspired by them, using and integrating different disciplines. They are spaces for intersection and coexistence, contemporary Agora’. “Living creatures-spaces”. Widespread greenhouses become the new city landmarks shaping by local bio/cultural diversity. They work out to regenerate and protect both plants and humankind “seeds”, growing up and inspiring “civic sprouts” to create an Earth better future. They “produce a surplus” of creativity, innovation, energy, food for better off all the community, even the weakest parts. I would image the thousands of “greenhouses of miracles” as a one world net composed by widespread and connected democracies. They overcome past, present, human, nonhuman, classical, contemporary, scientific (..) categories that kept them in different shrines. It is an unpredictable and unexpected meeting. It is an otherwise impossible sharing: Creativity, Nature and Utopia.
