Understanding City Growth

Understanding City Growth
1 Oct 2023 — 31 May 2024

Inner city, suburbs, brownfields, riverside, Belgrade, Serbia

Through three consecutive annual residency programs 2023-2025, BINA is inviting LINA fellows, representatives of new generations of creative people coming from other contexts, to perceive the city of Belgrade and its future growth or more generally its development. The program will be organized in two phases: residency in the period October 2023-April 2024 in accordance with the obligations of the participants and organizers and the final presentation of their work which will be presented during the BINA festival in May 2024.

LINA fellows’ task will be to respond to the topic through different forms and media of expression: design proposals, films, photographs or essays. Creatives will be paired with a local team/person that will be selected by an open call or invited by BINA. During their stay, BINA will organize presentations of creatives’ work in the most appropriate format and medium for each participant. Final presentation of their work will be presented during the BINA festival in May 2024.
