With over three years of independent experience, and 10 years of different activities in the field of architecture as a student, I have been consistently redefining the boundaries between architecture and art. I hold a baccalaureate degree in Architectural Constructions and a master’s degree from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Sarajevo. My master’s thesis explored the relationship between human spirituality and architecture, culminating in the design of a monastery that served as a sacral, public, and multi-functional space with diverse uses and purposes. This project was praised for its innovative approach and depth. Early in my career, I gained international experience working at a renowned architectural bureau in Vienna. Additionally, my academic papers were accepted by the Technical University of Vienna. However, I chose to return to Sarajevo to contribute to the regional architectural scene, and my time in Vienna helped broaden my professional perspective and refine my skills. I am a member of the Architects Association of B&H, and recipient of the Special Prize at the Collegium Artisticum 2025 exhibition.
My expertise focuses on interior and exterior design, including spaces with diverse functions such as offices, living spaces, and specialized areas. I also work on designs for buildings, urban public spaces, and preservation projects. I am equally dedicated to the logistical and organizational aspects of projects, ensuring seamless realization from concept to completion. As an artist, I have explored painting, video art, digital art, and graphic design.
I believe an architect must be a complete persona, engaging with diverse cultural and interdisciplinary fields to create meaningful designs. Active in Sarajevo’s cultural scene, I strive to contribute to my community by shaping spaces that inspire. With strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a vision for the future, I aim to leave a lasting impact on both local and international stages.

+ The goal of this process was to create a monument through the architectural and artistic work, as well as the research on the opus of architect Ivan Straus, which symbolizes the incredible work ethic and dynamics of his work as a Bosnian and Herzegovinian architect. This process was conceptual project and independent proposal for City of Sarajevo. Through the research process, the following parameters were analyzed: architectural formality, stylistic direction, configuration, artistic graphic expression, and typologies that were frequent and recognizable phenomena in the work of Ivan Straus. The mission was to create a well-thought-out artistic solution for the monument that communicates the authenticity of the work of architect Ivan Straus through each of its segments of form and plasticity, but not literally. All these elements are filtered through the author’s aesthetics, ei_atelier +/ The process was not rushed; rather, it was a natural evolution of my ideas. It was crucial, through this process and the final product, to clearly communicate who Ivan Straus is, as well as his greatness and importance within the time and geographical context, as an architect, intellectual, and resident of the city of Sarajevo. It is a rare occurrence that along the entire longitudinal axis of a city, on both sides of the Miljacka River, one can see his realizations in such abundance. Ivan Straus created the famous landscapes of the city of Sarajevo.Architectural and artistic composition is based on the principles of Ivan Straus and his architectural realizations. The configuration clearly highlights elements, either in their original or simplified versions, which form parts of the facade, access sequence, or the object as a whole.
The configuration is divided into several elements placed on a pedestal, contrasting in size or position but analogous in style and volume. Each element represents one of his constructed buildings or a recognizable segment from them. Year / 2018 – 2021
