Public space does not exist until you use it!
#LZSB - Wildebras
We think up different ways of public use for very different spaces, be it urban, rural or natural so our surroundings become extensions of our homes.

Jolle, Simon and Lucas are the core team of #LZSB, but since our focus is community and we have a big variety of projects, we have an endless list of collaborators which have great impact on what we do.

Jolle is an event programmer and was part of the team running the application of european culture capital for Kortrijk.
Simon is a photographer and a fixer.
Lucas is a post-architect, now-circular-builder.

We have a great love for our surroundings and our city. We see great value and want others to see it too.

We have great interest in nature and rewilding. Reducing harmfull impact is very important to us. The bike is our biggest promotion tool.

We support local over global and take this in account in every step from booking an artist to the tools we buy.

We have given talks for our local government and the Flemish network of cities.
On play and rewilding we were invited by University of applied sciences Thomas Moore for a talk and workshop for an assembly of universities in Vilnius.

We have taken part in end term juries for the faculty of architecture, KULeuven.

Trough small interventions - we transport everything by bike - we transform spaces to generate enough hospitality so a stranger would feel easy enough to join others listening music, watch a movie, chat with another stranger and even share a sauna session with them. In this way we hope to transform our city.

With playfull interventions and workshops we learn children to play outside and take back the city.
We practice civil disobedience in harmless ways, trough play and guerilla actions for positive change. We swim every full moon in the forbidden waters of Belgium for cleaner water and the freedom to connect with the little nature we have. We make the city greener by planting facade climbing plants together with the house owners. Together with other sauna searchers we built a community sauna to create a movement for consious city use. When it is dark outside, we project good examples in the form of documentaries on empty walls.

We are restless, always moving, sensing what is going on, to find needs we can fill in ... we can always go on. Our bike is the swiss army knife to open new spaces in ways we can not imagine yet. We see, learn, expirment and share so we can inspire others to do the samen in their cities.
