Olgas practise manifests as scenographies, costumes and spatial installations outside and inside the theatre machine, through a strong emphasize on the vibrancy of objects or materials that she uses.

Olga holds an MA in Scenography from Norwegian Theatre Academy (NTA) and a BA in Design Culture (SDU). As a scenographer with a design background, she has worked with scenic formats on several scales, from pop concerts, award shows, theatre, opera, dance and installations. Deeply curious about form and would she puts her experience from large stage productions and design for tour to rethink scenic formats for a new reality for the performing arts (+)t.

Høegh’s works has most recently been shown at Det Vestnorske Teateret (NO 2025), Nordic Black Theatre (NO 2025), Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design & Space (CZ 2023), O-Overgaden (DK 2022), Palmera Gallery (NO 2021) and Dance Base Yokohama (JPN 2024)

Material Series is a series of performative installations, scenography's and costumes driven by the inherent agency of materials.

The project explores how basic building resources — wood (fibres), glass (sand/minerals), metal, and edible plants — can shape scenographic situations through their own properties and behaviours. Each material performs differently depending on context, mirroring the adaptability of living organisms.

“The amount of resources is constant — they simply circulate.”

The series are build up on works and collaborations since 2021, some have already premiered, some not. Rather than producing fixed, repeatable works, Material Series investigates a scenographic format that evolves with each iteration — offering a sustainable, context-responsive alternative to traditional touring and replication.
