I am the founder and art director of Sanina Architects, an architectural practice based in Lviv, Ukraine. My background is in architecture and spatial design.
My work explores architecture at the intersection of emerging technologies, landscape and public infrastructure. Rather than focusing solely on individual buildings, I investigate how architecture can respond to broader technological, ecological and social transformations.
I am particularly interested in how autonomous systems can reshape spatial design and generate new forms of civic infrastructure. Through interdisciplinary research combining architecture, robotics, landscape, and public systems, I seek to develop projects that address future mobility, climate adaptation, and civic resilience.


Lynx explores how architecture can evolve as autonomous aerial systems become part of everyday public infrastructure.
Rather than proposing a single building, the project introduces a new architectural typology: a distributed network of mountain stations supporting rescue drones, environmental monitoring and public life.
Historically, every new mode of mobility has generated new architectural forms. Railways produced stations; aviation produced airports. As autonomous aerial systems become increasingly integrated into civic life, they too will require their own spatial infrastructure. Lynx investigates what these places could become and how they might reshape the relationship between technology, landscape and society.
Each station operates simultaneously as a drone hub, energy node, observation point and public space. Together, they form an infrastructure that supports emergency response, ecological monitoring and access to remote mountain environments while creating new destinations for visitors and local communities.
Lynx is rooted in the Ukrainian experience, where the rapid development of drone technologies during the war has fundamentally expanded both their capabilities and their role in society. The project explores how knowledge developed in conflict can be redirected toward civilian purposes, transforming it into new forms of infrastructure for care.
Rather than treating drones as isolated machines, Lynx positions them within a broader architectural ecosystem connecting people, technology and nature. It proposes a future in which architecture not only supports human movement, but also accommodates autonomous mobility as a new layer of resilient public infrastructure.
